Tricia + Nate | Vancouver, WA Outdoor Wedding

Their love story started at their churches annual Memorial Day campout. It wasn’t intentional to meet each other, said Tricia and Nate, it just happened. As they grew closer, Nate was attracted to her mother-like personality, while Tricia appreciated Nathan’s endless love and compassion to give and they both couldn’t wait to get married and ‘spend forever with their best friend!”

Flash forward to that August morning that started out hot and sunny. They chose a nearby park to have their first look and Nate’s jaw literally dropped when Tricia walked up to him in her lace gown. It was the sweetest moment! We had just made it through all of their portraits and went inside to wait for the guests to start arriving for the ceremony when the sky got dark. And darker. And everyone nervously looked around, wondering what was going to happen. 5 minutes til the ceremony was scheduled to start and the sky opened up with serious rain.

Guests grabbed umbrellas and visited cheerfully in the church lobby as we waited for the storm to pass. It’s the PNW, we knew it was going to pass. Soon enough, the rain stopped and the wedding went on! Excitement was written all over Nathan and Tricia’s faces as they placed on a ring on each other’s finger and marched joyfully down the aisle.

Congratulations you two; you officially get to spend forever together laughing through the rain and shine!
